DJ Boring – DJ-Kicks (2 x Vinyl)
Hailing from Naarm in Australia, Tristan Hallis aka DJ BORING was an artist always looking for ways to engage in his local scene. In 2015 his curiosity and longing for a change inspired a move overseas to London, where he found a new creative stimulus which would set him on the path which he’s still on today.
When working at a Shoreditch coffee shop, Hallis would set the mood by improvising sets off a tablet’s music app and he recalls Moodymann’s DJ-Kicks (2016), which he discovered in this context, as being a decisive inspirational spark in his journey. Ever since then, DJ BORING has been working on his craft, patiently building his talents and catalogue into a vibrant and illustrious career that has taken him to all corners of the globe.
