Harmonia – Deluxe (Vinyl)
When guitar legend Michael Rother suddenly stood ghostly on stage at a recent Secret Machines concert and rocked his "Deluxe" with the young US herbs, the small Hamburg club crackled with magic. The piece can be found on the second and last Harmonia album from 1975, which now belongs to the second remaster push of historical Krautrock albums
"Deluxe" is a repetitive rocking masterpiece full of studio-technically refined string paintings and wildly pumping e-organs. Rother, Moebius and Roedelius sometimes call for slogans like Kraftwerk, whose monotony seems just as hypnotic as the melodic mosaics. Adorable!
